Investor Village does have a subscription service for premium features, but a free account is more than enough to get to know the community and begin posting.

Visit Investors HubInvestor hub features both company boards and forums focused on a particular trading methodology. While not all boards have a lot of activity, the ones that do are usually very active where fast back and forth discussion can get pretty interesting.
The site also features a premium subscription that unlocks certain advanced features.
Raging Bull
Visit Raging BullAn active online community with a long history, Raging Bull features company boards categorized by industry as well as general discussion boards to learn more about certain industry sectors, investing in general and even to discuss sports, politics and life with fellow investors.
The site also features articles written by members that display an advanced knowledge about a certain investment technique or industry.
Yahoo! Message Boards
Visit Yahoo!If you're looking to discuss a particular stock, you can visit Yahoo! Finance and search for the stock. Many have a message board link on the left side where members discuss the company.
While the community is active and often helpful, it's not unheard of for the level of debate to degrade into name calling or otherwise useless conversation.
